Beverage in Prague

When you think of Prague, golden pints of lager often come to mind. This city is synonymous with beer, being home to some of the world’s best brews. Pilsner Urquell, Staropramen, and Budvar are some renowned names. Prague’s beer gardens and traditional pubs, known locally as ‚pivnice‘, are where both locals and tourists come together to enjoy a pint. However, beer isn’t the only drink on the menu. Becherovka, a herbal liqueur, is another Czech classic, ideal as a digestif or in cocktails. For the non-alcohol inclined, try kofola – a Czech soda that rivals cola in popularity.
